Updated: Jan 21, 2020

NOTE: this article has been updated since the original posting on July 16. The gardeners are now using a solution made mostly of Neem Oil. Scroll to the bottom of the article for the update and other info.

At the last board meeting in June 2019, one of the homeowners asked "what are the gardeners spraying?" Several other homeowners chimed in with similar concerns about harmful chemicals potentially affecting children and animals in our community.

Nobody on the board or landscape committee had an answer during the meeting so our property manager followed up with the landscaping crew and below is what they provided (scroll further down for the full documentation).

landscape spraying material

Specifically, the herbicide/weed killer consists of:

Glyphosate 36.5%

"Other Ingredients" 63.5%
